I have a contact list as an Excel csv file exported from MSN. How can I import it into my Yahoo mail contacts?

Answer:

First switch to classic mail then go to contacts (tab at top of page). Then click import/export at top right. For number 1 select yahoo csv file. If you have already exported your contacts skip 2. At 3 find your .csv file. Then click you import file! Done

I believe that the CSV file must contain the correct fields in sequence for it to be imported. What I recommend is to go to contact options in Yahoo and export a csv file with at least one address. Now open it in Excel to see the headings and column sequence. Make the new file the same format and then import it using contact options.
