How do I send an email to my entire address book?

  • How do I send an email to everyone in my address book without posting their names one at a time? Isn't there a way that I can put my entire list of contacts in the 'send' box? (I have yahoo mail)

    Try it this way In Yahoo: After you click on Compose or Forward to open the Compose Page, click on TO and your mailing address book will open on top of the page you are in. If you are sure you wish to send to all of the contacts in your address book, go to the bottom of the list and click on "Check All." This will place a check mark in all of the boxes. While at the bottom of this page, click the button just below that says... "Insert Checked Contacts." The address book will close and the names you selected will be in the fields you selected. Note: Only 200 are allowed at a time.

There are two ways you can send an email to all your contacts. First you need to create a new list and add all your contacts in it. Once you have created your list, follow either one of the steps below: From within your Address Book page, you can check the radio button ("TO", "CC" or "BCC") next to the group name that includes everyones address in it. Finally, click on the group name and a new outgoing message will open with all the addresses. PLEASE NOTE: If you have more than 25 contacts in your address book, you will not be able to use the "everyone" function to send email because of our spam blocking security measures. From within an outgoing message, click on the "Address Book" link to the left of the "TO" field. Scroll down to the group name that includes all the addresses in your Address Book and select either the "TO", "CC" or "BCC" next to the right of the name. Finally, click on the "OK" button, then on the "Close" button.
