Where is my email address book?

Email changes where is address book?

  • There seems to be changes to my email screen - how do I address an email? I used the drop down menu under contacts and checked the recipient box but the screen goes back to the internet home page. Where is my address book that shows add checked recipient?

  • Answer:

On your mail page in the left hand column click on contacts to get your address book If you want to email someone click on NEW top left welcome to the all new email page. If you don't like it you can switch back to the classic page, just click on Options top right and then click on Mail classic. Have a great day. Jes :)

I suspect you're referring to the "good old" address book that had the link "insert checked contacts". That specific function is only available in Classic Mail. But----the All New mail is a bit different than Classic. You can get close though-----just do this to pull up the address book (mailing list) and insert multiple addresses. >Click on New or Forward. >Then click directly on TO---(or CC or BCC,-----whichever address line you want the names inserted on)---and your mailing list opens. >Click on ONE name (address) AND THEN, hold down the "ctrl" key WHILE clicking on all the others you want to send this email to. >Then Click OK. The addresses will be entered on the address line you selected and all you have to do then is click "Send". Good luck.
