How do I contact Yahoo Mail?

How can I get Yahoo classic mail to restore all my 100 contact categories they deleted?

  • How can I get Yahoo classic mail to restore all my 100 contact categories they deleted yesterday, 2010 October 6? They did not delete my contacts themselves, but all of them are now labelled as "unfiled". All the categories in which I had filed them have been deleted by Yahoo, apparently. Who else would? No warning. No explanation. No hint why. Yahoo has never been very good helping me with their frustrating services, gliches, and withdrawn features. Now this is a real crisis. I used those categories constantly. I need them. It would take my hundreds of hours to re-make them, but I'm afraid they'll get deleted again. I sent in a complaint immediately, but I don't expect much, since, for past complaints, they usually just send me form letters which do not address my complaint. Occasionally they'll let a real person answer me, but rarely do they actually resolve the problem. Yahoo classic mail seems to be degrading generally over the last few years. I tried their Beta, but it was worse. This question is a revision of a previous question I asked but which nobody understood. Korky [email protected]

  • Answer:

This is a known issue and they seem to be working on it: http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/contacts/known_issues/ki-04.html I actually rather like the New Yahoo Mail. Its not called Beta anymore.
