How to delete Internet address box forever?

I can't delete an email address from my address book! no box to check, even when highlighted...?

  • I can't find a darn thing to highlight or check - mark to get to delete an address from my yahoo address book. I need to make many deletions & additions & edits. Thanx for your help!

    DELETE AN EMAIL ADDRESS IN YAHOO MAIL: 1. Click Contacts to open your address book. 2. Click on the name you wish to delete. 3. In the window on the right, click the little blue delete button. 4. Most important, go to the top left of this window and click the Save Changes icon.

If u have yahoo mail plus, or I suppose any version, on the left hand side of the mail page, one of the categories is Contacts. Click it, then a vertical menu should appear next to where the categories with Contacts in it. Then u can just scroll down and find the contacts u want to delete, and click a contact once (no need for double-clicking), then u should see the details of that contact come up to the right, and there are 2 buttons : Edit & Delete. Click delete. Hope this helps!! : )
