How do i check my yahoo mail?

How do i find my alternate yahoo e mail address so that i can check it.?

• i don't know much about computers. my friend set my e mail up for me, and then my computer guy made me one too. so now, i've been going by the one that computer guy gave me when i go to sites such as ebay and didn't realize that i can't check my e mail because my yahoo is apparently set on the e mail my friend set up for me.

  Go to any of Yahoo!'s personalized services (such as Yahoo! Mail, My Yahoo!, etc.) and sign in to your account. Click on the Account Info or My Account link at the top of the page. Re-enter your password for verification. Click on the "Edit" button next to "Member Information." This screen will allow you to vies or change your alternate email address and choose which address you would like as your primary alternate email. This means that we'll send you information about your account, such as a confirmation message after you've changed your password, to this address. Your alternate email address cannot be a Yahoo! Mail address. Please make sure to click the "Finished" button after you've edited any information. Follow the steps to verify your email address so that you can request a new password via email and use your new email address within all of Yahoo!'s services.
