How to sort email addresses?

Cannot sort my contacts by email address. all i have is names no addresses?

  • Answer:

I was hoping the full-blown "Address Book" would have the function to allow you to sort, but it appears it does not. Here's how to see your old "Contacts" as the new "Address Book" with all the old information - what I call the "wide layout" I can use this to make my choices for an upcoming email. Yahoo Your Yahoo email page Now "New" = Compose Select from underlined - To, CC, or BCC Enlarge the Address Book to full screen by dragging the lower right corner If you wish to send an email, try it Make your selections (I prefer BCC for privacy) Bottom left of page - Input choices Now your particular contacts are in the email I always put my email address in the "To" From another answerer: If you still want to contact Yahoo about what you do not like about the new contact list, they have a feedback form. Remember it is best to be specific and polite. 1. Select which mail you use, All-New, or Classic Mail on this link: http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/mail/ 2. On the help page that opens up click Contact Us button at the top. You will need to sign in. 3. Click the Yahoo Mail or Yahoo "Classic" Mail Feedback form at the bottom of the page and fill it out. Good luck

Click the Contacts tab to open your address Book. Click the down arrow next to "Sorted By. Click Email Address from the drop down menu. NOTE: Sometimes the Address Book doesn't open right away. Sometimes it opens without the option mentioned above. Just go out and back in, and it should be there.
