Why can't I edit contacts in yahoo mail contacts?

We can edit the contacts by selecting the contact's name from the long list - a small card pops up with limited information, select yellow "Edit" button on far right top of card, and all the screen is there. When you make additions, changes, "Save" which takes a few seconds to take effect. Now to the layout. To view the old "Contacts" page, which is now called "Address Book", this works Yahoo Your Yahoo page NOW "NEW" Compose (or forward) Select from underlined - To, CC, or BCC There's the "Address Book" Drag it to full screen You can see your "Categories" from this screen, in the good layout Make selections (I use BCC, for privacy) Insert Choices, from bottom left of screen Now all your addresses are in the new or forwarded email I insert my email address in the "To" box From another: If you still want to contact Yahoo about what you do not like about the new contact list, they have a feedback form. Remember it is best to be specific and polite. 1. Select which mail you use, All-New, or Classic Mail on this link: http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/mail/ 2. On the help page that opens up click Contact Us button at the top. You will need to sign in. 3. Click the Yahoo Mail or Yahoo "Classic" Mail Feedback form at the bottom of the page and fill it out. We all absolutely hate the new formats and keep writing feedback to Yahoo. They have already made a few changes, but they need to bring back the previous versions, otherwise we will all have to make unfortunate choices. Good luck, Later.....I just had the same awful experience - the entire "Compose" bar gone, and at the bottom of front page the "Return to Yahoo "Classic" in fine print gone too. I opened another window, and up came the old Yahoo "Classic" logo and the "Compose" bar. I printed both pages, so entirely different, and bookmarked them, but when I went back, the "Classic" version bookmark led me to the new crap. I am going to "Delete Cookies" and "Empty Cache" and see if that works. I feel like the world is spinning crazily ! Later still, the "Compose" button is replaced by the "New" - "Compose" can be found within it. Yahoo is at it again. Sorry
