How delete one from my contact?

How do I delete one contact from my list?

  • How do I see the actual email address? I have same name twice with two addresses but your new stupid system DOES NOT show any information when I click on it like the instructions say. STOP CHANGING THINGS THAT ARE NOT BROKE!!! YES, I AM SHOUTING

  • Answer:

All of us have been up against that or similar walls since Yahoo decided to have itself reformatted, for the cell-phone crowd, forgetting all of the rest of us that use Yahoo to communicate. I use the real "Address Book" to be able to really see each person, complete with their email address and nickname (in green) Here's how Above Inbox Select "New" Select from one of the UNDERLINED, To, CC, or BCC (doesn't matter) Up pops the "Address Book". Drag to full screen. If you need to select from a "Category" , top right of screen Now you can see all of your contacts with their email addresses listed. It sure was a whole lot better before the reformat. Send your emails from the "Address Book" by clicking the field for each contact you wish to send the email (I prefer BCC-for privacy) Choose as many as you need. There isn't a limit, like in "Contacts" At bottom left "Input Choices" Now all the email addresses for the people you've chosen, are in the email. I put my own email address in the "To" to prevent "Undisclosed Recipients" which all of us won't open. Now that you have seen and used the "Address Book", go back and select "Contacts" from above the "Inbox" All of your contacts will be listed (in very tiny light print) on the left one inch of your screen. To view and edit your contacts, try this: Select the NAME of the contact Smiley face appears with tiny info - the email address will be located here. You can also delete a contact from here. Select yellow "Edit" button top right of screen All of the information for the particular contact appears. I have had multiple email addresses for the same person, and I assign them a "Nickname" as well as change part of their name for one of them, so that it is easier to spot. I wish they would stop fixing our Yahoo mail and Yahoo "Classic" mail. If these suggestions do not work at first, I would scrub my computer. Your computer and its programs are probably different than mine, but I will use my computer's wording: "Delete Cookies" (usually found under "Security", "Empty Cache", and in "History" , either empty or delete it. Afterward, sign off, shut down, and restart your computer. You will be rid of all of those pesky files and memories that were stored from when you had problems (Hopefully) Now try the above suggestions for "Contacts" and for "Address Book" again. Good luck
