Is it possible to crawl through a database?

I would like to change the name in my yahoo address. Is it possible and still keep current mail database?

  • I am recently divorced and as a result would like to change my yahoo name in my email address. (for example from [email protected] to [email protected]). Is it still possible to keep my current mail database with addresses, email messages, contact details etc.? If not, would I have to create a new email address? If yes, would I lose all details in my current mail database? Please let me know. Thanks. [email protected]

  • Answer:

NAMES: On mail: Options>Contact options > Mail> General Preferences>(you can put whatever you like whenever you want on there) On Yahoo Answers: My Profile>Edit my info: nickname(you can put whatever you like whenever you want on there) On messenger: Messenger > My Contact Details: nickname (you can put whatever you like whenever you want on there) •Be sure to clear any other boxes that show your ID, first name, last name or anything else you don't want displayed. •Click "Save & Close" You can't change your ID, if you want a new one, you have to open a new account but your database would be on your older account. Hope it helps, Kisses

In your existing account, go to mail - options - mail addresses and create a new address. All the messages for the previous address and the new one will be coming to the same inbox.
