How do I delete someone from my address book and all contacts?

What can you do to override address server code 40402 in address book. It won't let me delete some contacts?

• I cannot delete some contacts in address book/messenger list because of that error code. Any ideas?

  You will need to delete the contacts from your Yahoo Contacts list first. 1. Click the Contacts tab at the top of your Yahoo Mail page to open you address book. 2. Check the box next to the one you wish to delete, go to the top of the list and click the Delete button. Then go to Messenger. It's a little different in Yahoo Instant Messenger list. Right click on the name and click Delete from the drop down menu. Note: 40402 pops up when trying to remove them while in your Yahoo Instant Messenger list first.
