How do I delete someone from my address book and all contacts?

How do I delete contacts from my address book?

  • I got to my address book, right click on the said contact and click delete. It ask me if I am sure I want to delete this person and I click YES, then it tells me it can't be done and something about a server error and gives me the error code in (). HELP PLEASE?

Hopefully this is temporary, while Yahoo is making their changes. It seems Error Code 40402 pops up when trying to remove a contact while in your Yahoo Instant Messenger list first. Glitches and Updates!!! You will need to go to your Yahoo Email Account and delete the contact's name there first. 1. Click Contacts from your Email page to open your list of Contacts. 2. Go to the one you wish to remove and check the box next to it. 3. Go to the top of the list and click the Delete button. Go to Yahoo Instant Messenger, right click the name and select Delete from the drop down menu.
