How can I delete a name from a category without deleting it from my address book?
-
I checked the names on my Church category and clicked delete for one who had moved away. That contact name not only left the category, it left the address book! How can I fix it so that it is only removed from that category?
-
Answer:
On your mail page>>>click on "Contacts" and your address book opens. In the left hand side panel, you will see the names of all your different Categories. Click on the name of the Category you want to remove a contact from, and that category opens. Check the box in front of the name you want to remove------THEN----click the "remove from category" tab. DO NOT CLICK DELETE---otherwise the contact is deleted from your address book.
