How do I get my address book back for mail on yahoo?

  • when I get mail and want to forward the mail on, I use my address book to forward and now that I have updated yahoo I have no address book. How can I get it back?

  • Answer:

    Yahoo has changed the name of the address book to "Contacts". In the updated version it has become a folder and is located under the Trash. In Classic mail---it's still in the same place---just called Contacts.

To open it for emailing, after your click on "Forward", click on "TO" to open your address book for emailing only. Check the boxes next to the names you want to forward to, go to the top of the list and click on "Insert Checked Contacts." To open the address book for editing, click on "Contacts." Depending on which yahoo program you are in, it will either be at the top of your yahoo mail page if you're in Classic, or in the left navigation bar under folders if you're in Beta or the newest version. Note: I read in the "Forum" that Beta was going to be discontinued.
