I hate the new calendar and I have lost my old data. Do I have an option?

I don't know how but I want my old calender back also!! I hate the new one it sucks big time! and I think it is horrible that all my saved items dated before the new calender are lost. I had a lot of important information saved on my calender!! I hope enough people will complain so we can get the old system and our lost information back!!
