How do I get to my address book?

How can I get rid of an Auto Complete entry in the Yahoo Mail address book?

  • I don't want to get rid of the contact, but the address has changed, and unfortunately the old address comes first alphabetically. So when I start typing [made-up address] moi...what comes up first is [email protected] (old address), which I don't want, and then [email protected] (new address), which I do. I would like to just be able to type moi [enter]. I tried completely deleting the contact from the address book and re-entering it, but the unwanted address is still there.

  • Answer:

Open your Address Book, by clicking on the "Addresses" tab. Locate the address you want to change and click the "Edit" link at the end of it. Make the changes, then close the address book and open it again to see if it worked. While in there, the second time, check to see if the old one is still in there. If it is, check the box next to it, go to the top and click the delete button. It should come up correctly in Auto Complete.
