How do I transfer address book names from Sbcglobal to Yahoo?

How to delete duplicate addresses in my address book?

• when in the "compose" mode.....when accessing my addresses by clicking " to" button, a panel comes up from my address book showing all my addresses.....however, there are several duplicate names appearing........ Question is, how do I delete those I want to elimenate? They appeared when I attempted to transfer from another address book in another program. I'm aware I can go into my Yahoo addresses and delete those that are a duplicate but why can't I go into that panel that comes up when I click onto "to" or "cc' or "bcc" and delete from there.

  Yahoo doesn't have that option. The only one is deleting from the Address Book tab.
