I cannot access my contact list? what is going on?

I cannot access my contact list or get a contact list by using "insert contact" - is anyone else having this problem?

Yahoo does not tell us so we can only guess. Hundreds of users are all having the same problem today. That means it is a Yahoo problem; not your computer or browser. On the Y!A Suggestion Board it was reported that Yahoo is phasing out Classic Mail. That means that Yahoo is working on the site. The missing Contacts are a common problem when work is being done. None of the contacts will be permanently lost. They will reappear when the work is done. This same thing happened in 2008 and 2009. One time it lasted 6 weeks (not everyone was affected equally and the problem rotated around). You will have to wait until the work is done. Read Yahoo's ymailblog.com
