How to I transfer over my contacts and emails?

I changed emails due to 1000's of junk mail. How do i transfer my contacts to new email and send out notice?

  • new email in bulk..(one note to all contacts)? I know theres any easy way to do all of this. Please help. thanks and god bless

    If you are importing from Yahoo, click the Contacts link in Yahoo Mail. The newer Yahoo Mail interface has Contacts below the Trash Can. The older mail interface has a tab for Contacts. On the main Contacts screen, click the Import Contacts link. A new window opens. From the list of providers, find you old email service and log into your old account. You will be presented with the list of contacts you can import. Select the contacts you want to import. Then, you will be given the option of sending a message to these contacts right from within the tool announcing your move to Yahoo Mail.

If its a new Yahoo account you now have, you can import your old contacts. Just go to Options > Import Contacts > Get Started > choose your old type of account from given list. Click "continue" and follow the steps given in the box. To send a notice from your new address to all these contacts, open a New message and click To: Cc: or Bcc: Click the first name on the list, scroll down to the last, click Shift and click on the last name on the list. Click OK to enter these names in your email. Type message and click Send. The use of Bcc: allows each recipient to receive their copy of the message without seeing the email addresses of all your other contacts.
