My e-mail address book has been hacked. What can I do to stop them?

My e-mail address book has been hacked into. They are now sending garbage e-mails to everyone in my address book. Many of the sent e-mails come back as undeliverable. What can I do to stop them from sending out unwanted e-mails to everyone in my address book?

https://edit.yahoo.com/forgotroot/ Use my account was compromised Never use a dictionary word Remember absolutely no one, not even Yahoo will ever ask for your password in an email. Dont FWD FWD emails.

First of all change your password to a series or numbers letters and characters such as %&@#. Do not use words or parts of words in your password. Then apologize to your email list for using the password "birthday" for all these years, Good Luck P.S. you could also just use gmail
