Can i transfer my contacts from aol to my yahoo? If so how?

I am cancelling my aol account can i transfer my aol contacts to my yahoo account?

Unfortunately while it's pretty easy to transfer your contacts from a third-party provider to AOL (they provide software), vice versa is not quite so simple. There's no easy way to do it sadly, except to go into your address book and select and copy all your contacts, paste into the body of an e-mail and send it to your address and manually re-enter from there. There may be some third-party (non supported by aol for assistance ) software available to you, but I've never encountered it myself, and this is with years of use/knowledge with AOL.
