What happened to "insert address?

Used to have a line when forwarding a message that said "Insert Address" now it is gone - what happened??

  • Under the "old" e-mail system that I used last week, when I forwarded a message, there was a blue line just above the "To:" line that said "insert address". Now under this new system, it is no longer there. I have to remember what each and every person's addresss is to put it in the "To:" Line. What happened to that line and how do I get it back. I have over 100 addresses in my address book -- how am I supposed to remember each one every time!!!!!!!! PLEASE HELP!!!

  • Answer:

Unfortunately, the New mail has changed that action, and it's now an inconvenient hassle to address mail----that doesn't even work half the time. After clicking on forward or "New" (no longer compose)-----click on the word TO and your mailing list opens. Then click on one name (address) ----AND---- while holding down the "ctrl" key, choose the rest of the names you want to send to---release it and then click "OK". Like I said---sometimes it works----and sometimes it doesn't. When you've become so frustrated that you just can't take it any longer----click on the link that Magnumgirl posted above and come on back to good old Classic---who loves ya.

The option has changed. With the message window open, click on "To" to open your address book which is set up only for emailing. Check the boxes next to the contacts you wish to send to, go to the top of the list and click "Insert Checked Contacts." The addresses you selected will be in the "TO" field and the address book will close.
