How do I send an email to everyone in my contact list?

Do I have to join Yahoo Groups to send out an email to everyone in my contact list?

  • WHEN I TRY TO SEND AN EMAIL OUT TO MORE THAN 80 PEOPLE, YAHOO SAYS THERE IS A PROBLEM AND THAT I HAVE EXCEEDED MY HOURLY SENDING LIMIT. IT SUGGESTED THAT I JOIN A YAHOO GROUP. IF I DO THIS, WILL EVERYONE IN MY CONTACT LIST HAVE TO FIRST JOIN MY GROUP TO RECIEVE MY EMAILS? ANY SUGGESTIONS?

    They are trying to safe gaurd from spamming. I work for AT&T so take my word on this. When you send out so many emails it looks like youre spamming. So, to send mass emails like you are wanting to do you usually have to join like a business email group or something like that so they know what you are doing. Spamming is illegal and all yahoo is doing is trying to protect itself. So, join the group and you should be able to do it.

no. you can make a mailing list in your contacts as well. or just start an email and add everyone by clicking the top blank button above the 1st name in the "to" field.
