Should i give I-con my address?

How can I change my e-mail address without anyone locating me unless I give them my e-mail address.?

  • I would like to change my e-mail address and not have anyone be able to access it unless I give them my new e-mail address. I have the feeling that somone has hacked into my e-mail, I've changed the password a few months ago, however, I feel that my e-mails are being monitored. This is the problem that I have: I separated from my husband 6 months ago Little James Davis e-mail address ([email protected]) if I remember it correctly and ever since we separated I feel that both my e-mail and my daughters e-mail addresses ([email protected]) have been comprimised, not to mention he has a friend who is good at hacking into other's people computers and I'm pretty sure if he can get into someone's computer he can get into someones e-mail address. This is the second time my daughter has had to change the password to her e-mail address, when she tries to go into her e-mail address she can't get in because her password has been changed by someone else. Therefore I would like to change my e-mail address, also when I click on my contacts there's nothing there, my contacts are no longer listed, however, when I send an e-mail to a friend I have no problem typing it and I think it's because it remembers the name that I'm trying to put in. Please help me with this, I would like to remain with yahoo, however, if this keeps happening, I'm going to have to change my entire e-mail service. What else can we do to insure that once we change our e-mail address this won't happen again? Will he be able to try and search using our names even though we won't use our names any where with-in the new e-mail address, but in order to register with yahoo we would have to list some of our personal information. I've been having a lot of problems with my e-mail loading, I'm ALL ways getting error messages and it takes so long to load, maybe it doesn't have anything to do with yahoo service maybe it's just that someone else is trying to see what I'm doing. Please help.

  • Answer:

perhaps there is a tracking device on your computer- they can remember which keys you press when you are typing a password in, and record them. This happens if there is spyware on your computer, so it may not be your husband, it might jsut be some white collar criminals. You should get something like Noron Anti virus. Or take it to Geek Squad (call them first) and see if they can figure out if there is some sort of monitering device on the computer. don't freak out though, you might be paranoid and it might just all be in your head. divorce is a stressful time. was you husband jealous or possessive? if he was, then your concern may be warranted, but if he was a meek, honest guy, you are probably being to worried.

just abandon it. if it's being hacked and it disappears they will look for your new one. if you leave it as is but never use it or check it and begin giving out and using your new email address they will never know.
