How do I change email setting on my scanner?

How do I change the setting in my email to NOT include the email addresses of the recipients?

  • I'm using Outlook Express for my email. Would like to change the setting to NOT show recipients addresses. I don't know how to make that change. Thank you for your help.

  • Answer:

There is no "specific" setting for that. What you have to do is enter the addresses on the BCC line (blind courtesy copy), and no one will be able to see them. This is what I do in my OE account: >click on "create" or "forward" >click directly on the word TO and the mailing list opens--which is the same as the address book. >click on the name(s) you want to send to and check the BCC box >when all names are selected, and in that box--click OK--and they are entered on the email. OE allows you to leave the TO line blank (when using BCC) and the email will be delivered to all, showing TO Undisclosed-Recipients. No addresses show. ........... (This won't work on Yahoo----unfortunately)

Send the mail to yourself and blind carbon copy it to others. They'll only see their address.

Use the BCC option... That means blind copy..Go to view on your toolbar and add it.
