Is there a way to copy (not transfer) my address book from one Yahoo! account to another?
-
Without 1) doing it manually <I have about 100 business contacts> 2) sending out a mass email to everyone in my address book telling them to email my other account. <like I said they are business contacts> and 3) using TrueSwitch <I don't trust them and I have read quite a few bad reviews about them; malware spyware etc.- I don't even know if they can preform the task I need anyway.> Any info, Thanks!

Answer:
If you're not using Classic, switch over just to do this. You can easily switch back to the All-new Mail if that's what you prefer. You use the Import/Export feature to transfer your contacts from one account to another. As long as you haven't already canceled the old account you can use the import/export feature to put your contacts in the new account. If you've already canceled that account, you would be out of luck. Here's what you do if you still have the old account: - From your old account, click on "Contacts" - Click on "Import/Export" You're probably going to be saving a .csv file to your desktop to use when you get to the final step of importing the Contacts to your new account. If you're not sure, note that there are Hep links just to the right of the Export portion of the page. And on the Import portion as well. - Go to down to where it says "Export" and make the appropriate choice (for me it was Yahoo! CSV. - Click on "Export Now" . This is where you'll have a file to save. Save it to your desktop. Now from your new email, again click on "Import/Export" (If you don't see it, click on Mail Classic View) The Import section is at the top of the page: - Choose for step 2. - For step 2, you've already saved the file - Step 3, choose the file you saved - Step for, click on "Import Now" That should do it. You could start at Import, but I found it made more sense to Export first and have the file I'm going to be importing into the new account already saved.

You can export your contacts from your email account and then import to your new one. Go to options/ mail option/ contact options, and then under management click on import/export. This will give you the option to export your contact from yahoo as a .csv file. Then all you have to do is log onto your new account, go to the same place and click on import and will ask you for the location of your csv file. Browse to that file and your contact should now all be in your new account. j

I think there is an option to save it to your hard drive, then import it in the other account.
