What is server error code 40402?

'The last Address Book operation did not succeed due to a server error. (Error Code: -40402).?

• For two days I receive this whenever I try to add/change information in my list of contacts. I have re-installed. Did not help. I have "removed," rebooted, and re-installed--still the same problem. This has lasted for almost three days now.... are others having problems, perhaps it is a "server problem." This answer has been asked before, but there has never been a true answer. Thanks

  Unfortunately I have the same error , I've contacted Yahoo Support via Chat, but u know how it is, u get different persons every time... Anyway, they suggested editing some settings on my IE, then unistalling YM, then erasing it completely.... every new person came with its own solution, but nothing worked... Eventually they said they will send my problem further to their technicians. I got an email shortly with the... guess what ??? Erasing thing again... Nothing worked obviously again... Then there was no answer anymore... Just now i updated (clean instal) to the new version that came out 9.0.0.2136, but the error was waiting for me there as well unfixed. Yahoo, anyone there ????
