That feature is available only in messenger. For Yahoo mail you can only block a specific sender. Can I block junk mail with filters? Well, to do that you would have to know the sender’s address. And if you do know the sender’s address, your best bet is to use Yahoo! Mail’s Block Address function. You can find it by clicking Options in the upper right corner of your Mail page. Yes, yahoo does have that option. Turn on your spam protection. 1. Click on the "Options" link in the upper right of your yahoo mail page. 2. When the options page opens, click on "Spam Protection." 3. Fill out the form and click "Save Changes." 4. Go back to your In-Box now, and place a check mark next to each contact you do not want to receive mail from. 5. Go to the top of the list and click the "Spam" button. Notes: 1. Every message you report in this way trains your Spam Guard filters to work better for you. 2. The messages you selected will be deleted and reported as spam. 3. The senders of the messages will be added to your blocked addresses list. Before long, you will only get mail from those in your address book.
