How do you make another e- mail address?

How do I change my e-mail address to my married name but make sure that I still receive my old e-mails?

  • I have got married and wish to change my e-mail address to my married name but obviously i still want to received my emails from my maiden name e-mail aswell.

    You do not say what type of e-mail you are using but I would just set up a brand new account with your married name and then forward all of your email from your old account to the new one. Hotmail for example has a "rules" tool which you set up to automatically forward all email to a different account

Carve out a new email address with your new name and forward the mail from your old account to your new account. There should be settings in your old account that allow you to forward that email. Since you don't say who you have email with I'm afraid I can't be specific. But if you poke around... you'll find that stuff.

Interesting question. I had the same dilema but in reverse. As soon as my divorce comes through I'm changing back to my maiden name. Thanks guys!
