I lost my yahoo email address book and older emails?

  In Yahoo Classic: RECOVER CONTACTS: 1. Click Contacts to open your new address book on the left. 2. Click the "View All Contacts" button above the list to open more. 3. Click on Deleted Contacts. 4. Click on the Contact you want back in your address book. 5. Click "Restore" in the window on the right. Repeat the steps above for each contact you wish to restore. Just in case your Messenger Contacts did not restore... FOR MESSENGER: IMPORT CONTACTS TO YAHOO MESSENGER: You will need to have the contacts in your Yahoo Mail Address Book. 1. With Messenger open, click on "Contacts." 2. From the drop down menu, click on "Import Contacts." 3. When the "Import Contacts window opens, click "Next." 4. When the next window opens, check the names you want to import. 5. Click "Next" and follow the prompts. NOTE: The selected contacts will receive an email from Yahoo inviting them to join you on Messenger. You will be added to each others Messenger's lists when they accept the invitation.
