    Not all solutions for reverting to Classic Mail work for all computer set-ups. That's why I have included several solutions. Maybe this can help you, I use Internet Explorer and could not find a solution to switch back to Classic Mail permanently after 2 days of pulling my hair out lots of problems! I have not found links work permanently, I went to CONTACT YAHOO CUSTOMER CARE, then clicked on LIVE CHAT, told them my old computer can not handle it, and they switched me back 5 to10 min. total, no problem, and they do not prompt me to switch anymore! You can also call Yahoo USA, but you will wait forever! 1-866-562-7219. Don’t forget to vote for best answer. Anyway Good Luck!

Do this to "STAY with" (or get back to) Classic (which is the ONLY older version you can stay with or get back to)----it's quick and easy. This link (below) has been reported to be a permanent fix---and even stops future "prompts to upgrade" It's different than some of the other links, (that have been given), which are only temporary. Click this link: http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/mail/ymail/context/migrationv2.html When the page opens---scroll down about midway until you see this---"What if I don’t want to upgrade to the newest version of Yahoo! Mail"?----IF you do not want to upgrade, please "click here" to use Yahoo! Mail Classic. ("click here" is a blue link).
