How to block an email?

How to block email addresses from emailing me?

• In my email options i selected Spam, then typed in the email address i want to block , then clicked Add. I am still getting emails from the sender i wish to block. This is just an example of the senders email address , its not the senders email, just an example, "Joe Brown"<[email protected] when i type this in to block it says its not a proper domain, i can only type in [email protected] if i put the Joe Brown<[email protected] it wont work. How can i block this email address . thank you

  1. Click Options in the upper-right corner of your Yahoo! Mail page. 2. From the list on the left, click Spam. 3. In the middle of this page, in the space provided in the "Blocked Addresses" section, enter the email address from which you don't want to receive mail. 4. Click Add. 5. Click "save changes" at the top of the page. 6. The address now appears on your list of blocked addresses. You may block up to 500 email addresses. You can see how many of your blocked addresses you're using beside the list - for example, 4 of 500 used.
