How do i hide my name from sending to a recipient?

How to i hide my name when sending an email. it usually just appears in the top of the page.?

  • using outlook 2003. dont want my name to show up when i send email.

  • Answer:

The following works in Outlook Ex.-----It shouldn't be too much different in Outlook---at least it's worth a try. With mail page open---click Tools>>accounts>> In the dialog box, click the "mail" tab across the top>>check the desired account >>click the "properties" tab (on the side)>> In the properties dialog box (under the general tab)>>make the changes in the user info area and then click "OK". It's my understanding that you have to enter something ----otherwise, by default, the name on the account will be entered. (debatable) You could try it both ways---with a nickname (or whatever)---and/or with nothing entered. Good luck.
