How do I remove an event from a Yahoo Group calendar?

How do I fix my "Yahoo Calendar"? Please help.?

• I was surfing around "Yahoo Answers" and I joined "a group". Later when I went to my "Yahoo Calendar" an event that was evidently posted on a "group members" calendar came up in my calendar as a daily repeating event! ...For more than a year! Totally destroying the usefulness of my calendar. I don't know how I got there or how to remove this/their repeating event from MY CALENDAR. Please help. My calendar is very important to me. Please keep the steps I need to take simple for my simple mind. Thanks for your help.

  I'm not sure about this because I don't do it, but it sounds like you have joined a group and are sharing your calendar with this group. It's up to you of course, but... Maybe the only thing you can do is to change your settings in Calendar Options. If this is what you want: Click on "Calendar" then on "Options" in Calendar. Under Options, click on "Sharing" and check the box that says "No one can view my calendar." Also check the box that says "Private." Click "Save."
