How to transfer contacts to smart phone?

How do i transfer my phone contacts from one phone to another?

  • I have recently started an iphone contract and have been given a temporary sim which will become my permanent sim once my number has been tranfered over. How do I transfer my phone contacts from my previous phone (samsung tocco) over to my iphone all at once? The iphone doesnt have a microdisk slot so i cannot place it directly like that and you cannot save contacts on the tocco to your microdisk (as i'd place them on my computer then). If anyone can come up with a solution I will be very grateful. Thank you.

    1.You can save all your contact numbers in the sim card memory. When you transfer your sim card to you iphone, you can copy the simcard contact to your iphone memory. 2. Cellphone->Computer->Cellphone 3..Or you can transfer the contact by bluetooth

Seriously dont waste your time with the stuff above. Just go to the app store and get the app that does it for you. Its called bump it or somthing.

Itunes should do that for you automatically. Failing that there's software called TouchCopy which can do that too apparently..

i work at a cell phone store and we have a machine to transfer them from one phone to another, as well as a little calculator-looking tool that can change them from one SIM card to another. I would go into your provider's store and ask them to do it for you. You also could probably save them to the SIM on your samsung, put the old sim in the iphone really quick and copy the sim contacts to the phone (its in the settings) then put the new working SIM in when it is time to use the phone
