How do i add someone to my yahoo mail contact list, not yahoo messenger?

  • I am a subscriper to Mypoints and they recommend I add them to my contact list so their emails will not be sent to the junk mail folder. I already know how to add addresses to yahoo messenger, but I've never added a contact to my email account before. Yahoo help seems of no help.

  • Answer:

    You will need to have their Email address ready. Click Contacts to open your Yahoo Address Book. Click the Add a Contact button on the left to open the form to fill out, of the window. Or.. When you open your address book, look for a form that is either at the top or bottom of your address book. Fill it out and click the Add button. Note: If the form is at the bottom of your address list, there is an option to move it to the top.

when u send some on email it ask u would u like to add this person to ur contacts

Open one of their emails, where their email address is right click on it a box will open and ask if you want to add it to your contacts.
