How do i delete contacts in my address book?

How do I delete all contacts in Address Book?

• I know where the option is, but it doesn't work! I am trying to sync my contacts from Outlook to Yahoo (one-way, cause I don't yet trust Yahoo Autosync), and when I try to "Erase All" in the settings, I always get back an error screen & "Unable to complete operation". Anyone else? Is there a maximum number of entries it can handle processing at once? I do have a few thousand. But, this is all web- based, so why is there a problem? THANKS IF YOU CAN! :)

  If you are referring to your Yahoo Address book, you can delete them page by page only. Increase the size of your address book first, so you can get more at a time. 1. Click the Contacts tab to open your address book. 2. Click the "Options" link. 3. Click "General Preferences." 4. Check the box next to 100 contacts to display per page. Save. Go to the bottom of the list on the first page and click "Check All", then click Delete. Do the same for each page.
