How to I transfer over my contacts and emails?

How do I transfer my email contacts and saved emails from previous DSL account to new U-verse mail?

• I just switched from a previous DSL account to a new U-verse bundle. I am still using my old home and mail page which has an email address ending in sbcglobal.net. My new U-verse page has to be signed in with an att.net address. When I go to the new mail page at att.net it does not have my saved emails or any of my contacts. My email address is still sbcglobal.net. I would like to change it to the att.net address on my new page, but I do not want to do it unless I can transfer my contacts and saved emails to the new att mail. How can I do this? I have way too many (contacts etc..) to start over or copy them all down by hand. Please help. [email protected]
