How delete one from my contact?

How do i delete a bad email address after i've updated my Contact with a correct one?

• Even though i delete a bad address from my contact's entry, when i type the contact's name in the To box of a new email, both the new, good address AND old, bad address appear.

  The same thing is happening to me. I've even DELETED the contact entirely and when I put it back in, and then Compose an email, both the old and new addresses are there for me to choose. I have bad addresses that are over a year old -- right about the time I upgraded to the latest version. I guess Yahoo expects us to memorize which email address is the current one. I've reported this already and got nowhere. After about 15 years with Yahoo, I'm thinking I'll give Gmail a try. So -- the answer is: Be prepared to sharpen your memory!
