Someone is using my email to spam everyone in my address book What should I do?

In Yahoo Classic: Your address book can be hijacked if you or your friends expose all of the email addresses in a Forwarded message. Always use the bcc field to add the names you are Forwarding to, and delete the previous addresses. When opened, there is a link to some advertising sight. I had a similar problem and just deleted all my "contacts" but occasionally one of those outlaw servers will still send spam to all my contacts. There is really nothing that you can do about it. The spam e-mails usually come with no "subject" so you could tell al your contacts to ignore any e-mail from you without a subject.

The best way is to get a new e-mail address and have your friends block the old one - then they will know it's you, and not someone else.
