Where have all my contacts gone?

  • All of my contacts disappeared from my yahoo mail. Also, I can't save any contacts. It says internal server error.

    I can't answer your question on getting the Contacts back, but in future why not take a regular Back up copy? This can be done by two methods as follows 1 Contacts/Tools/Export/Yahoo CSV :- This puts a CSV file onto your machine 2 Contacts/Tools/Print/Basic View/Copy & Paste to your Word Processing Package

The whole of Yahoo has been having what amounts to a nervous breakdown lately. Maybe it's just got the winter blues or is suffering from a far more serious form of depression, who knowws? But NOTHING seems to work properly on here. Pages are very slow to load or else fail to load at all. Comments don't get posted at all sometimes. E mails & contacts & so on disappear for no good reason. It fails to let us sign in at all or immeduiately logs us out again. Repeated error messages/codes etc... I guess your contacts will probably still be in the yahoo system SOMEWHERE maybe, but as to IF & WHEN they ever get it all fixed up & running properly is anyones guess. In the meantime, a lot of us are having similar problems, so you are not alone. Ooh yes - & the spell checker has been on the blink for simply ages as well, that can be added to the shopping list of things for them to mend!
