How do I transfer address book names from Sbcglobal to Yahoo?

Transfer yahoo email address book to new yahoo address book?

  • I am getting really quite sick of all the spam , so i have created a new yahoo address that is not so well known with spammers. ( I hope. ) I need to know if I can transfer some or all the addresses to my new email address so I can email the people I want..

    first click compose andclick in address block and open the old email and copy and paste the addresses from the old to the new email. (paste them into the address space) and send it to them all. after that yahoo will ask you if you want to add them to your address book. click yes

Internet Explorer allows import and export. It is under File above. So export them out of your old account and into your new one using IE.

NO, I do not believe so, because it will tell you that address is already taken, and it is by you.

Sorry, you have to manually create them.

First log your old email address then go to your address book then click Import/Export then go to export click export now beside microsoft outlook. logon to your new adress book and go to Import/Export then click browse under #3 select the file then click import now

click on mail options. 1. click on contact options. 2.click on import/export. 3.scroll down to export and find the file name Yahoo!csv and click on the button next to it that says export now. 4. a screen will appear, click save to your desktop. the file name will be Yahoo_ab. Log out of the 1st account and log into the 2nd one. repeat the process in inverse. click on mail options. 1. click on contact options. 2.click on import/export. 3. In the import section choose the program Yahoo! (.CSV file). In the browse section just click on the file that you saved to your desktop. After that your contacts should be in your new address book.
