Why won't Yahoo won't export contacts?

I imported my Facebook contacts to Yahoo, so I can move them to my gmail account. When I try to export the yahoo .csv file, the download doesn't always work...I get a message to "click this link if your dload doesn't begin in 5 minutes." When the download does work, all I receive is an excel file with the usual headers/contact fields such as name, address, email, phone etc BUT NO CONTACT DATA. Is there a fix for this or am I doing something wrong? I've tried this process several times from 3 computers using different browsers. Always the same issue. Thanks for your help.

go to your gmail and import them, that is the best way.
