Hot to block particular e-mail address?

How can I block a particular email address I no longer want mail from?

  • I do not want to change my address but I want to block a particular person from emailing me.

  • Answer:

    Most email hosts these days let you put addresses into a spam folder. I don't think they can completely block that email, but will put it in a seperate folder where you can delete it or let it get deleted with time.

sign into your "account", go to "mail" or "Mail options", then go to "block addresses", there you can type in the address you want blocked, and also remove addresses that you want to unblock. Also, if you have the e-mail from the sender that you want to block in your inbox, just mark it as "spam", and that address will show up in your "blocked addresses" section.

You may be able to mark it as spam and it will go to your junk mail or spam box from there after. Or you can simply tell them to stop emailing you.

Mark it as spam. They can still send it, but it will go straight to your bulk folder and you'll never know it was there.
