How do i delete names from face book?

i have just returned to face book after not using it for ages. can i delete people i do not wish to have as friend ??

Yes go to their profile and go to the bottom and it should give the option to unfriend

Yes you can. 1st you go to your Friends list. then there's an "X" on the left corner. Click on the X and then there will be this message saying are you sure you want To delete this person from your friends list? And that's it!
