Email format to write to a customer?

  • I have a email to write to to clear a written test. Following are the guidelines. 1. I am a sales man who has sold a printer to a customer 2. The printer sold is not working properly. 3.So I have to write an email to the customer saying that I will send a Technician over to check on the the printer. Please tell me how to write such an email. Appreciate all responses! Thank you!

    I'd send something like this: Dear <name> I am sorry to hear that the <printer name and type> that you purchased from me on <purchase date> is not operating correctly. In line with our high standards of customer service I will arrange for a technician to visit your premises at your earliest convenience to examine the printer. Could you please contact me with a suitable date and time for his/her visit. This will of course, be at no charge to yourself. Yours sincerely <your name> <title> <contact information> Is this OK
