How do I get Yahoo to search and index my website?

Why is YAHOO "ANSWERS" not in the index on the home page of yahoo ?I have to go into 'search' to get onto it.!

  • I thought that YAHOO ANSWERS was more important than to be ommitted from the index of things on yahoo homepage that you could log on to! Why do I have to do a "search" to get on to ANSWERS ???????

    Yep, I'm with you on moving Answers link somewhere easier to locate. I had a bit of problem finding the link myself. I had to click on "Yahoo!7 Services" at the bottom of the far left column that opens a HUGE menu of other places, then I found "Answers" at the top of the center column. I'm not from Australia (seems everyone else here isn't as well), so, my home page is US. But I just heard about you guys getting a Yahoo!7 Products category going (finally) and dropped by to take look, then spotted your question and went to check your home page for the Answers link. My Answers link is in the same location as the rest of this group, apparently. It may be because of the US portal defaults to show all English questions. At least, that's what I think all of the confusion is about. Congratulations on getting your Products category back up and running!

it should be on the left hand clolum side. It is on mine.

I answered it on your first question, but Im going for another 2 points. Its on yahoo.com menu left hand column ANSWERS First thing on the menu. You cant miss it . Or I guess you can, but it is THERE.

It is! When you go to edit to set up your home page for Yahoo look up 'Answers'. Then edit it into your home page. Answers- is Yahoo Answers!

Yahoo answers - as other have said - is top of the list on the left of the Yahoo ! home page ! Quick easy exercise - open eyelids - focus on screen - pan eyes left !! (joke lol !)
