Trying to delete pending msgr addr bk entries from address book or yahoo msgr. I end up with multiple entries?

These are pending address book entries that came from yahoo messenger. I try to delete them in messenger and/or yahoo address book and the delete contact says it works. But...get back in later to either address book or messenger and they are back. Also...in the yahoo address book they will appear multiple times. uggggh. help anyone. it's just pending messenger entries.
