Why am I getting multiple reminders for events with the new yahoo calendar?

Since Yahoo switched over to the new calendar I get three, four even five reminders for the same event. How can I stop this? Thanks!

Answer:
I have had the same problem and have sent two support emails to Yahoo regarding the problem and have not received a response. The first email was sent 7 days ago. The second one 4 days ago. Yahoo promises a 24-hour response but has not provided that in this case. I don't know of any tweaks that can be done by the user to solve this problem. It appears to be a bug with the New Calendar application.
