Help with sending email attachments - using Mozilla Thunderbird?

Hi there, I am doing a school assessment where I have to send an email with a notepad document as an attachment. The attachment size is 11.6 KB I am positive that I am attaching the file properly, as I have successfully sent attachments before. The people I am trying to sent this email to say that they receive the email but not the attached file. I have sent the exact same email to my brother's personal email addresses (GMX and Hotmail), and he received the entire email - with the attachment. I have sent the email via Mozilla Thunderbird and Hotmail. I would really appreciate it if someone could help me find the problem here! Thank you so much for any help!

Answer:
It doesn't sound like there's a problem on your end. Check your sent box and if the email is there WITH the attachment, then the person receiving the email is stupid, messing with you or there's something wrong on THEIR end.
